RCU appointed HCO to supervise the construction of Habitas a sustainable home of wonder in AlUla, an immersive experience where nature inspires creative expression, human connection and the pursuit of adventure. The project mainly consists of 150 high-quality prefabricated, and fully furnished residential accommodation units in a single storey in addition to a number of attached Service and Admin buildings (Kitchen, BOH, Restaurant, Gym, Recreational, Office buildings and Reception) plus standalone support buildings (Guard Rooms, IT rooms, Fire Pump Room and Water Tanks). The project’s unique feature is the use of sectional construction solutions that adhere to international building standards, and are built in a way that is environmentally friendly and able to withstand the harshest climate conditions.

The project has a footprint area of approximately 400,000 m2 with a net floor area of approximately 190,000 m2.
